Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy – Maldives Yacht Day Tours By confirming your booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Cancellation & Refund Policy No deposit will be refunded in the event of a cancellation by the guest, except if the trip is canceled by the provider due to bad weather conditions or unforeseen operational issues. If the provider cancels the trip, guests may choose between: A full refund, or Rescheduling for the next available trip (subject to availability). No refunds or compensation will be provided for: Late arrivals or no-shows. Guests who choose to leave the trip early for personal reasons. 2. Safety & Regulatory Compliance All yacht operations comply with Maldives Transport Authority (MTA) safety standards. Safety instructions must be followed at all times as directed by the captain and crew. Life jackets and emergency equipment are available onboard and must be used as instructed during emergencies or drills. 3. Insurance & Liability The yacht and passengers are covered by basic marine insurance in case of fire, collision, or emergency disasters, up to the policy’s maximum limit. Personal travel insurance is not included and is strongly recommended for all guests to cover medical expenses, personal accidents, or trip interruptions. The provider does not assume liability for: Personal injuries, accidents, or illnesses caused by individual negligence or failure to follow safety instructions. Loss or damage of personal belongings. 4. Children Onboard Children must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times. The provider is not responsible for any incidents, injuries, or damages involving children due to lack of supervision. 5. Damages & Misconduct Any damage to the yacht, equipment, or furnishings caused by passengers (intentional or accidental) must be paid for in full before disembarking. The provider reserves the right to deny boarding or remove guests engaging in dangerous, illegal, or disruptive behavior, without refund. 6. Weather & Itinerary Changes The captain has full authority to alter routes or activities due to weather conditions, sea safety, or unforeseen circumstances. Substituted activities or route adjustments do not qualify for refunds if the trip proceeds safely. 7. Force Majeure The provider is not liable for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by events beyond control, including but not limited to: Natural disasters Government restrictions Technical failures not caused
